HTC has launched not one but two new Desire Smartphones in China. The HTC Desire 7088 comes with the same 5-inch qHD (960 x 540 pixels) display, is powered by a 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 200 SoC which is based on the ARM Cortex A5 CPU architecture, with the Adreno 203 GPU. You get 1 GB of RAM, 8 megapixel rear and 2.1 megapixel front cameras, 2,100 mAh battery and Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean with Sense 5 UI on top. You also get 8 GB of expandable storage.
Design wise, the Desire 7088 closely resembles the HTC One, but in reality is a massively trimmed down version of the flagship. There's also HTC's trademark BoomSound stereo speakers (boy do we love those), and BlinkFeed also makes it to the feature list. Zoe, unfortunately, isn't so fortunate.
No word on the expected pricing or availability as of yet.
