Unlike last time, when Google took more than half a year to bring their coveted Nexus Smartphone to the Indian sub-continent, the Mountain View company has reviewed their priorities and revamped them. It looks like the Neuxs 5 may be officially available sooner than anybody expected. While India will only be getting the HSDPA variant (which isn't an issue, we barely have LTE coverage here anyway), the 16 GB variant of the device will allegedly end up being priced just Rs. 20,999. If you remember, the 16 GB variant of the Nexus 4 was introduced in the country earlier this year for Rs. 25,999.
If the pricing is indeed final, the Neuxs 5 will end up as the most value-for-money phone in the market. It won't just be hard, it will be nigh' on impossible to beat the device in terms of bang for the buck. But we'll hold off the celebrations until Google makes their official announcement.
