Google Supporting Chrome For XP Until April 2015

In a recent blog post, Google's Director of Engineering for Google Chrome, Mark Larson, stated that even though Microsoft is officially retiring Windows XP on April 8th, 2014, Google will continue to support XP users with updates until at least April 2015.

He states that they know there are still million of users relying on the XP operating system and that corporations may have hundreds of users will using XP application, thus making it difficult for them to make the tradition to a more modern operating system.

Chrome running on Windows XP will still be automatically updated with the most current security patches to help protect them from various forms of malware and phishing attacks.
