Microsoft Explains Smart Search Features In Windows 8.1

In Microsoft's latest video episode of "On the Whiteboard", Editor Pamela Woon has a friendly chat with Bing's Corporate Vice President Derrick Connell on the ease of use and features of Bing Smart Search in the recently released Windows 8.1 operating system.

The Smart Search feature allows you to simply type in what you are looking for, and it will show you lists of not only your local documents, apps, photos and videos, but will also search on the internet and bring up additional relevant information such as pictures, websites, popular apps and more.

Even if you don't want to use it, it's an interesting view on what Microsoft has done to try to help people alleviate the problem of finding all the things they have collected on their computers and hopefully get more organized.
