NVIDIA Shield 2 In The Works

Apparently, introducing a hat trick of new products isn't enough for one evening. After the announcement of NVIDIA Gamestream, the updated GTX 780 Ti and the could-be legendary G-Sync, CEO Jen-Hsun Huang couldn't control his excitement to talk about more future products. While one of them was Tegra 5 (aka Project Logan), Huang was heard mentioning the Shield 2 during his interaction with the press. While we had no doubt that the next-generation Shield portable Android gaming console would be powered by NVIDIA's upcoming Tegra 5 SoC, we didn't realize that the device is closer to a public announcement than expected. Our best guess would be Q1 2014, but take this last bit with a grain of salt.
