In a recent deal that streaming service provider Netflix made with Warner Bros., subscribers of the service will soon have eight television series available to them. The deal will see shows like Revolution, Fringe, The Following, Political Animals, Longmire and more.
The deal will allow Netflix to start streaming the 2012-2013 series of these shows to its subscribers a few months after their original debut on network television. Also included are some older episodes of Warner Bros. shows like Chuck, Fringe, The West Wing and 666 Park Avenue.
Netflix has previously nabbed the licensing rights to Disney products from Walt Disney Animation Studios, Pixar Animation Studios, Disney Nature and Marvel Studios. The deal with Disney will see products from these studio made available sometime in 2016. Netflix is also involved in producing its own original content with shows such as House of Cards, Hemlock Grove and Arrested Development.
