With Apple Macbook Pro and its Retina display, it was about time for other manufacturers to step up and release 1080p screens. One of them is Dell, who is hopping to compete with Apple with its updated XPS 13 Ultrabook. According to Dell's spokesperson at CES 2013, the XPS 13 Ultrabook is getting a 1080p screen by the end of this month. Until then, the Dell XPS 13 will have a mediocre 1366 x 768 pixels display. No release date or price have been confirmed, though the original version sells for around $1,200. With updated 1080p screen, it will probably match the MacBook Pro in price, but it stays unclear how will it do in terms of display quality.
