Due to some prior leaks, we knew that ZTE plans to introduce Grand S smartphone. The Grand S handset belongs to ZTE's high-end line of Grand Series handsets, which include the Grand Era and the Grand X. It is equipped with a 5-inch HD 1080 x 1920 pixel display made out of Corning Gorilla Glass. It is accompanied by a 1.7GHz quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro and 13-megapixel rear-facing and a 2-megapixels front-facing camera. Both cameras support 1080p recording.
The most impressive thing about this handset is its thickness. At its thinnest point, it measures only 6.9 mm which is a world's thinnest 1080p smartphone. It also includes 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal storage, 4G LTE and an Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system. ZTE did not mention any price of the device, and it is unclear if the device will make its way to the U.S. market.
