Well Comet ISON is coming and it will be within 730,000 miles from our sun. Will it be a spectacular view? Even the professional astronomers do not know for sure. However they do know that on November 28th 2013 it will make its closest approach to the sun. Interesting enough, the day that comet ISON will be the closest to our sun is the United State's traditional Thanksgiving day!
The above image was taken on October 9, 2013 by NASA's Hubble Space Telescope. The picture shows the comet inside of Mars' orbit or about 177 million miles away from Earth. Scientists claim, by this picture, that the nucleus of the comet appears to be very much intact.
