Hellraid Release Delayed Until 2014

Techland, the developer behind the upcoming four person, cooperative online action/fantasy game Hellraid have announced that they will be pushing the release date for the game out into next year in order to not have to make too many compromises in the game.

In a post on the game's website, they stated that, "If we released our game this year we would have to make too many compromises and the final product probably wouldn't meet all our promises and your expectations. That's why we've made a tough decision to release Hellraid in 2014 or to be more precise: when it's done." They also state that the additional time will give them a chance to add more features and new game modes for both solo play and co-op that they have not had time to finish.

While it's always disappointing to hear that a game is getting delayed, giving the developers enough time to get the game right is always in a gamer's best interest. We'll keep you posted as more news on this game becomes available.
