Samsung is reportedly working on producing their own curved batteries, much like LG is already doing. While the LG G Flex uses a curved display and battery, the Samsung Galaxy Round is missing the latter. And that is why the 5.7-inch beast features a 2,800 mAh battery compared to a 3,200 unit inside the Note 3. At present, the flat battery rests at the center back of the phone, and is thus a serious limitation to the maximum size that you can pack inside. Curved batteries are the way to go, and it looks like we will most definitely see one in the next Galaxy Round.
