Windborne Gets Preview Testing Period Starting Nov. 11th

Hidden Path Entertainment, the talented folks behind the Defense Grid games, has announced that their new social sandbox game, Windborne, will begin a preview testing period (sort of a limited alpha test) next Monday, November 11th, 2013. It will run for a month.

The preview will begin through Steam, and will give the selected players full access to the current state of the game, and will include a starting island to explore, more than 100 craftable objects to for decorating your home, a full set of tools for interacting with the word, and a bunch of social features for connecting with your friends.

The game is set to launch on Steam Early Access in early 2014, and people interested can follow along on the title's official Facebook and Twitter accounts where they can score access keys when they make them available, and you can also visit the game's official website at the source link.

Jeff Pobst, the CEO of Hidden Path, was kind enough to give us an interview back in February, so if you want to check that out click here, and below is an early trailer for you to watch.
