Does Warner Bros. Have More In Store For Batman Fans?

It appears that Warner Bros. has snapped up quite a few new domain names that are related to the Batman franchise. The names, all registered on January 10th could possibly point to new video game titles or movies, but it's still just speculation at this point.

All of the names that were registered pertain to "Arkham" in some manner. Here is the list of domain name registrations that were found:

arkhamuniverse.com (Arkham Universe)
batmanarkahmuniverse.com (Batman Arkham Universe)
batmanarkhamarises.com (Batman Arkham Arises)
batmanarkhambegins.com (Batman Arkham Begins)
batmanarkhamdarkknight.com (Batman Arkham Dark Knight)
batmanarkhamknight.com (Batman Arkham Knight)
batmanarkhamlegend.com (Batman Arkham Legend)
batmanarkhamlegends.com (Batman Arkham Legends)
batmanarkhamnight.com (Batman Arkham Night)
batmanarkhamorigins.com (Batman Arkham Origins)
batmanarkhamstories.com (Batman Arkham Stories)
darkknightarkham.com (Dark Knight Arkham)
dcarkhamuniverse.com (DC Arkham Universe)
dcarkhamverse.com (DC Arkhamverse)
thearkhamuniverse.com (The Arkham Universe)

The owner of the domains is concealed behind the privacy policy of registrant MarkMonitor's DNStination service, but given that Warner Bros. is a client to MarkMonitor it would seem likely that they are who is behind the registration. The names could be used for new video games or movies, or simply to protect their current intellectual property.

Since there is no official word from Warner Bros. this remains pure speculation, so take it as you see fit.
