Next Car Game gets First Gameplay Trailer

We previously reported that Bugbear, the studio behind the well known racing games such the FlatOut series and Ridge Race Unbound, had launched a Kickstarter for their next car game, Next Car Game. They have now dropped the first gameplay trailer for viewing.

Bugbear is developing a new triple-A quality demolition derby game with a lot of attention placed on soft-body damage modeling, sophisticated driving dynamics, and vehicle upgrading. The game will feature both demolition derby arena action as well as regular race tracks.

Their Kickstarter is running a bit slow at the moment as they've only pulled in about $68,000 of their $350,000 funding goal, but there are still seventeen days left. If the game looks interesting to you, and you want to help them out with the campaign, hop over there using the source link. You can also check out the game's official site here.

The gameplay video does a nice job of showing off their attention to realistic vehicle damage.
