Verizon has come up with a new way to rip off consumers in the US (quite blatantly). The company's new $5 "Daily Plan" offers tablet users (only) 300 MB of mobile data, that is valid only for 24 hours. Meaning, whether you complete your quota or not, your plan and data go kaput after the passage of one entire day. While one-time users can definitely make use of this plan, especially in cases of great need. But if you plan to use mobile data on your tablet on a daily basis, a "Daily Plan" is perhaps not suited for you. Signing up for a monthly plan will turn out to be cheaper and offer you more data at the same time.
