After having finished 2012 as a third biggest smartphone manufacturer, Sony said they will try harder to become a premium manufacturer. Their latest Xperia-Z "Yuga" is a well packed smartphone, with lots of impressive features. However, according to the latest leaked specifications, it seems that the Xperia Tablet-Z will be at least as well as its little brother.
According to a Twitter account named @Xperia_info, the Xperia Tablet-Z will come with a 1.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon APQ8064 processor and an Adreno 320 GPU. Like the Xperia-Z smartphone, the tablet also features a water/dust proof chassis and a 10.1-inch display with a 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution. It also comes with 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal memory. If that did not make a good overall impression, than dual cameras - an 8-megapixel rear and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera, with a massive 6,000mAh battery should have.
The Tablet-Z, codenamed "Pollux", will reportedly run on an Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and will measure only 6.9 mm. Sony did not confirm any pricing, availability or specifications, but with these rumoured specifications it seems that Sony is aiming high, no?
