Google could be working on their own Apple TV rival. A new report suggests that "Nexus TV" is in the works and will be launched in the first half of 2014. Unfortunately, the report falls under the category of "paid content." So unless you have a membership, you won't be able to view the original article. Fortunately, you have us. Don't mistake Nexus TV for Google TV. The latter was meant for live TV broadcasts, and it now looks like its on the verge of being scrapped. The former on the other hand, will offer gaming and web broadcasts, displayed on your living room TV set. And it will also come with a remote, if the report is to be believed.
It is very likely that Google might introduce Nexus TV (if it exists) at I/O 2014. That's a long way to go, so don't wait up.
