Sony's Personal Content Station (LLS-201), an artsy device that caught quite some attention at this year's CES, got a pair of release dates attached to it: April 30 in Japan, about a month later in the U.S.
The Personal Content Station, simply put, is a wireless hard drive with 1 TB of storage, and 802.11 b/g/n WLAN interface. Pairing it with your gadgets gets quicker if they're NFC-enabled. A simple hover initiates a backup of your personal content over to the drive. The Personal Content Station also takes up the role of a media player, streaming or playing back videos, pictures, and music stored in it.
