Warner Bros. drops Announcement Trailer for LEGO The Hobbit

In preparation of its anticipated 2014 release, Warner Bros. has dropped an announcement trailer for the upcoming LEGO The Hobbitvideogame. The video game will feature all the familiar characters such as Bilbo, Gandalf and the Dwarves of Erebor.

The game will see players taking off on an interactive journey through the first two films of the Hobbit Trilogy, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey and The Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug. In the game players will be utilizing and combining the dwarves' abilities to solve puzzles as they explore and meet up with nasties such as Orcs, Trolls and Gollum and his precious ring

Players will follow Bilbo Baggins as he is recruited by the Wizard Gandalf to aid Thorin Oakenshield and his Company of Dwarves. Bilbo leaves the comforts of the Shire on a journey through Middle-earth to help the Dwarves reclaim their lost Kingdom of Erebor within the Lonely Mountain.

The game is planned for a 2014 release for the Xbox One and Xbox 360, the PlayStation 3, 4 and Vita, Nintendo's WiiU and 3DS, and also for Windows PC.
