Techland and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment have released a new gameplay video for their first-person action survival game Dying Light. In the video they show off the darker side of the game's day and night cycle mechanic, and give a brief look at strategies.
The infected in the game are slow and easily seen during the day, and players can use their parkour skills to avoid them without too much problem. Things change at night as the infected become more bloodthirsty. They run, jump and climb so you are at a disadvantage having no safe places any more.
The game is set in a large open world in which players scavenge for supplies during the day and try their best to survive at night. The game has no specific release date yet, but is slated for a launch on the Xbox One and Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and 4, and Windows PC sometime in 2014.
