Vivo's next-generation Smartphone has been in the news for the past couple of months already. After much anticipation, the world's first Smartphone packing a QHD resolution display has been officially announced by the Chinese phone maker. Cheers to the Vivo Xplay 3S, the first of its kind.
The 2560 x 1440 pixels (ridiculous right?) are spread across a 6-inch display that translates to a mind-boggling 490 ppi pixel density. Internal specifications include a 2.3 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 chipset, 32 GB internal storage, 3 GB RAM, 172g weight, 13 MP f/1.8 rear camera, 5 MP front camera and support for both TD-LTE and FDD-LTE. Vivo will include its own customized Android OS with the device.
Despite sky-high features and specifications, the Vivo Xplay 3S will go on sale soon for CNY 3,948, which is just shy of $580. A full launch is slated for the end of January, and Vivo has plans to bring the phone to markets across the globe. We are counting on that.
