According to a report from asiae.co.kr, Samsung plans to unveil its next generation smartphone. The Galaxy S IV will not be announced at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona and at the end that was confirmed by the company's spokesperson. According to Samsung, Galaxy S IV will have its own event just like the Galaxy S III got.
There have been many speculations about Galaxy S IV release date, but according to report that will happen at the Unpacked Event which is set for March 22. The event will be held in the US; at least that is what Asia Economy says. No official confirmation has been provided as of now, so stay tuned for new information.
However, according to SamMobile, Samsung is planning to ship the handset starting from week 16, which means April 15. The S IV, firstly codenamed "Project J" now "Altius (J)", will come in two colours: black and white. There will be a separate wireless charging kit to buy and the smartphone will come with a 2600 mAh battery, instead of a 2100 mAh which can be found at Galaxy S III. Also, there is a new picture which is claimed to be a press shot of the Galaxy S IV device.
