Huawei introduced three new handsets at the CES in Las Vegas. The Chinese company announced the 5" Ascend D2, the 6.1" Ascend Mate and company's first Windows Phone 8 Ascend W1. With less than a month left till Mobile World Congress starts, Huawei announced that it plans to hold a press conference on February 24, at the MWC. From the press conference invitation image, we can see that the company plans to unveil new smartphone.
The invitation does not give any clue as to what device will be unveiled. However, according to some rumours we could see Huawei's Windows Phone 8 flagship, the Ascend W3. The Windows Phone 8 smartphone features a 4.5-inch with 1280 x 720 pixel display, an 8-megapixels camera and apparently a dual-core Krait processor with 1 GB of RAM. The device measures 132 x 67 x 10 mm and comes with LTE support. We have already had the opportunity to see the pictures.
