Chinese phone maker Gionee has officially launched its flagship Smartphone in India. The Gionee Elife E7 was launched earlier today, with models up for grabs. For Rs. 26,999, you get the 16 GB variant with 2 GB of RAM and a 2.2 GHz Snapdragon 800 chipset. If you are willing to shell out an additional 3k bucks, Rs. 29,999 will fetch you the 32 GB edition with 3 GB of RAM and the world's fastest Snapdragon 800 chipset, clocked at 2.5 GHz.
The rest of the phone's features such as the 5.5-inch 1080p panel with OGS and Corning Gorilla Glass 3, 16 MP rear camera, 8 MP front camera, NFC, and 2,500 mAh battery are common to both the variants. So is the OS, which is Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with Amigo UI 2.0.
While Gionee may not be a brand as large as Samsung, their products do look top notch and pack some serious firepower. The Gionee Elife E7 will be available in Orange, Pink, Blue, Meteor Black, Ceramic White and Green starting January 2014.
