Samsung Galaxy Grand Lite GT-I9060 Visits The FCC

After SamMobile first revealed the existence of a Samsung Galaxy Grand Lite at the end of November, the same device bearing a model number GT-I9060, whose existence has already been confirmed by multiple reports, took a swing by the FCC's office today. We can now confirm that the Galaxy Grand Lite, which is the second of Samsung's upcoming 'Lite' branded Galaxy phones (the other being the Galaxy Note 3 Lite), packs a 5-inch WVGA (800 x 480) display, 1.2 GHz quad-core processor, 1 GB RAM, a 5 MP rear camera and Android 4.3 Jelly Bean out-of-the-box. Which makes us wonder, why didn't Samsung just continue with the original Galaxy Grand by introducing a price cut?
