Not that it's new to the 6-inch class, Lenovo made an entry to the segment to keep itself known as the who's who of the smartphone industry makes entries into the now-called "supersize" smartphone market segment. The new S930 from Lenovo comes at a surprising price.
Lenovo S930 is features a curvy, faux-metallic body design that appears to borrow design ideas from HTC and ZTE. It features an upper-mainstream feature-set, beginning with its 6-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) screen that's flanked by stereo front-facing speakers (a la HTC One).
It offers a combination of an 8-megapixel primary camera (with LED flash), and a 1.3-megapixel front-facing one. Under the hood is a MediaTek-made quad-core Cortex-A7 CPU clocked at 1.30 GHz, although the company didn't mention RAM or internal storage amounts. There's a dual-SIM slot on offer, and the device runs Android 4.2.2 "Jelly Bean."
Slated for February, the Lenovo S930 is expected to be priced at US $319.
