Even as the turf-war between smartphones and tablets rages on, in the 6-inch range, Korean company Pantech fired its salvo in the form of the Vega N°6. If you classify it as a smartphone, it should work out to be the biggest one to feature 1080p resolution, thanks to its 5.9-inch screen size. It uses an IPS LCD display to beam out those many pixels.
The screen isn't the only selling-point in Vega N°6's kitty. It also features a combination of a 13-megapixel BSI primary camera sensor (probably Sony Exmor), and a 2-megapixel front camera making 720p video chats possible, Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core ARM SoC with a 4G LTE baseband, and a capacious 3,150 mAh battery to handle the hardware. Android 4.1 "Jelly Bean" is at the helm. Color options include glossy white and piano black. Sadly there's no word on availability outside Korea.
