Although the HTC's flagship smartphone started receiving the latest Android OS, the company confirmed that some devices won't get the KitKat update. HTC's Dutch brand issued a statement on Twitter confirming that HTC One X+ will not get the latest Android update.
"We can confirm the HTC One X+ will remain on the current software version, Android 4.2.2 and Sense 5."
This means that also HTC One X and One S are also abandoned, so users are stuck only with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. Luckily, the company rumoured that Android 4.3 could come to HTC One X and X+ in the near future.
