Oppo N1 Launched In India For $650

Chinese phone maker Oppo as officially launched its flagship device, the Oppo N1, in India. Packing a 5.9-inch Full HD display, the N1 is powered by a 1.7 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 600 SoC, 2 GB of RAM and a 3,610 mAh battery. The device's main highlight is its swivel-mounted 13 MP camera that can be rotated by almost 200 degrees (and can be used as the front cam as well).

The Oppo N1 runs a custom Color OS (Android 4.2 Jelly Bean), and comes with an unlocked bootloader. Oppo has priced their phablet at Rs. 39,990, which is around $650. Pretty steep for a new entrant. Whether people trust a Chinese brand and pick up such an expensive product readily, only time will tell.
