HTC Desire 310 Unveiled, Their First MediaTek Powered Device

We've known about this for a while now, but it is finally here. Introducing HTC's first ever MediaTek-based Smartphone, the Desire 310. The device in question reportedly features a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582M chipset, 512 MB of RAM, 4.5-inch FWVGA (854 x 480) display, 5 MP rear camera and 4 GB of expandable storage. Not so impressive, huh? Oh well, that's because HTC is targeting the entry-level market device, which also packs a 2,000 mAh battery and runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.

No word on pricing, although it should be available in Europe in the near future.
