Electronics Arts has announced today that the highly anticipated science fiction shooter, Dead Space 3, is now available in North America for the PC, PlayStation 3 and the XBox 360. The game will also allow playing along side a co-op partner for mode specific content.
You can, of course, play the single player campaign, but EA promises that in the co-op version there will be additional story elements, cut-scenes and different battle strategies that are exclusive to this type of game play. You will also be to drop in and out of the game seamlessly at any checkpoint so there will be no need for backtracking in the game or having to catch up with your partner.
The first entertainment blockbuster of 2013 is here. Dead Space 3 has launched today in North America on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC and features a new drop-in/drop-out co-op feature and an all-new weapon crafting system. The latest installment of the popular franchise delivers suspense, horror action and incredible sound that this series is known for. Game Informer magazine gave the game a 98 rating and called it "one of the best games of this generation."
