Up until now, we had no way of confirming whether Sony would release Android 4.3 Jelly Bean for the entry-level Xperia M. The device was launched, and is still running Android 4.1.2. To add to the misery of early adopters, the dual-SIM version of the phone came with Android 4.2.2 pre-installed. However, according to Vodafone's internal documents, Android 4.3 is very much in the works for Sony's entry-level 2013 device. Testing will commence soon. How soon? We can't say. Expect the update to arrive within Q1 2014, if everything proceeds smoothly as planned.
