Elder Scrolls Online getting Imperial Collector's Edition

Bethesda Softworks has announced that they are going to release a premium collector's edition for the upcoming MMORPG Elder Scrolls Online. It will be called the Elder Scrolls Online Imperial Edition and will be made available in both digital and limited physical versions.

The Imperial Edition, in addition to the game itself, will include the following physical items:

  • Molag Bal Statue.A 30.5 cm statue featuring Molag Bal, Daedric Prince of domination and enslavement.
  • The Improved Emperor's Guide to Tamriel. A 224-page illustrated guide annotated by the Imperial scholar, Flaccus Terentius.
  • Physical Map of Tamriel. A 53.3 cm x 66 cm printed map detailing Alliance-controlled zones and the ultimate conquest: Cyrodiil.
  • Steelbook Packaging. A limited edition steel case decorated in the color of the Imperials.

In addition there will also be exclusive digital content including the ability to play as an Imperial, a white Imperial horse as a mount, a Mudcrab vanity pet and Rings of Mara, which after completing a ritual with a friend will give extra bonuses when you play together.

The Physical Imperial Edition is extremely limited in quantity and available for pre-order through participating retailers for $99.99/€99.99/£89.99/AU$139.95. The Digital Imperial Edition includes the base game and all digital content outlined for the Physical Imperial Edition above and retails for $79.99/€79.99/£69.99/AU$119.95.
