Sony's updated PlayStation Vita Slim has been announced for the UK market. The second-generation PS Vita is slimmer, lighter and boasts improved battery life as compared to the original, although it does sport a less impressive LCD display instead of an OLED panel. Sony wants you to shell out £180 for the PCH-2000 (model name of the new PS Vita), which is roughly $300, a bit too steep if you ask me. Pre-orders for the console start today, the same will be honored beginning February 7th.
