Archos today announced a trio of 'Neon' branded Android tablets, whose names are indicative of the device's screen size. The Archos 90 Neon (9-inch) packs a lowly 800 x 480 resolution display, the 97 Neon (9.7-inch) gets 1024 x 768 and the 101 Neon (10.1-inch) has a 1024 x 600 resolution panel. It doesn't take a genius to figure out that these new devices are strictly targeted at the budget-minded crowd.
The Neon trio packs quad-core processors, 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB expandable storage and front and rear facing cameras. No word on pricing or availability as of yet.
