A Senior Executive who works at Nokia India has let slip that Nokia Normandy (aka Nokia X), the Finnish company's first Android powered Smartphone, will indeed be launched in March. Also, the executive revealed that Nokia X will join the company's Asha range.
The Nokia X packs specifications that closely resemble the company's entry-level Lumia 520 (now phased out). One huge difference is that the former runs on Android operating system. However, since it hasn't been Google-certified, it won't ship with Play Store pre-installed. Nokia Store, and reportedly other 3rd party stores will be available at launch.
