Samsung is reportedly getting ready for the official launch of its next generation smartphone flagship. Just ahead of the launch, we got specifications of the Samsung Galaxy S IV device as well as rendered image. According to TechRadar, the picture was posted by Twitter user @tamerallyy who "got it on some android blog and there's a video on youtube as well." The Galaxy S IV should sport a 5-inch 1080p Super AMOLED+ display powered by a 2.0 GHz A15 Exynos 5450 quad-core which Samsung recently launched along with ARM Mali T658 GPU. There will be 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB, 32 GB or 64 GB of storage options along with removable SD card slot, a 13-megapixel rear camera, a 2-megapixel front-facing camera and Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean. In terms of connectivity, Galaxy S IV will support WiFi, 4G LTE and Bluetooth 5.0.
We already knew that Samsung is planning a dedicated event and that the Galaxy S IV should make an appearance at March 22nd. According to new information, we should see Samsung's next-generation Galaxy smartphone flagship as early as March 15th. This confirms why Samsung recently ramp up the production of displays. The sale of Galaxy S IV will begin in Eastern Europe early in April, following in North America, Australia and Africa around May/June.
The accessories for the Galaxy S IV are planned for April, which also confirms Galaxy S IV release date. Samsung Galaxy S IV accessories are Clear Cover, Flip Cover, Protective Cover, Pouch, Extra Battery Kit, Wireless Charging Kit, HDTV Adapter and Headset and is unknown what can be expected to come with the device. SamMobile also confirmed that GT-I9500 is the Galaxy S IV and will be available in two variants; black and white.
