At Consumer Electronics Show 2013, Sony announced two new Ultrabooks to the Vaio T-Series lineup. Called T14 and T15, both models are officially launched and available for purchase at Sony's store. Sony used an aluminium and magnesium alloy chassis along with touchscreen display for both models. They feature an Ivy Bridge ultra-low voltage processor (up to i7 3537U), Intel HD 4000 video card and up to 8 GB of DDR3 1600 MHz RAM.
As the name suggests, the T14 model features a 14-inch touchscreen display with 1366 x 768 pixels resolution, while T15 comes with a 15.5-inch LED-backlit touchscreen display with Full HD 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. Users can choose a hard drive with capacity of up to 1 TB storage alongside with 24 GB SSD for fast boot.
The Ultrabooks come with either a DVD Burner or a Blu-ray drive. In terms of connectivity, there is USB 3.0, HDMI port, an SD card reader, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n and Bluetooth module. They come with 6-cell battery, Windows 8 Pro operating system and are available for purchase with a starting price of $769.99
