HTC Desire 8 Specs Confirmed, May Be Launched By US Carriers

Reliable source of HTC related leaks, LlabTooFeR, has posted and confirmed the specifications of the HTC Desire 8, the company's new 5.5-inch mid-ranger that is awaiting its official announcement (slated for February 24th). We now know that the Desire 8 is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 400 SoC clocked at 1.2 GHz, supports LTE connectivity, and packs 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of expandable storage, 13 MP / 5 MP cameras, a 5.5-inch HD (1280 x 720) display and Android 4.4 KitKat with Sense 6.0 UI out-of-the-box. Now, if only HTC prices it justly.

The source also says that US carriers such as AT&T and Sprint might be gearing up to launch HTC's unannounced phablet, which is good news for the Taiwanese phone maker.
