A Samsung-branded Qi wireless charging pad made its way to the FCC for its approval, before it could be sold in the U.S. market. The pad was pictured, taken apart, and pictured some more. The device is little more than a solid-state wall adapter, a pad body designed to match a Galaxy S III (and possibly the upcoming Galaxy S IV), and a large Qi induction coil. The coil can induce 500 mAh, with a voltage of 19V, which should be enough to charge the S III's 2,100 mAh juice box in a couple of hours. It remains to be seen if the pad becomes standard issue with the Galaxy S IV.
