HTC honcho Peter Chou may have flashed it at an event, but design of the HTC One (formerly known as "M7") flagship handset, has been largely a mystery, until its press-shot got @evleaked (it's a verb now). Pictured above, the handset appears to have borrowed the best design elements of its older phones, while adopting a slick round-edged rectangle shape, with chrome highlights lining its edges, much like the iPhone 5.
Also seen in the picture are felt-touch back and home keys, the front-camera, ambient light sensors, and symmetric-looking ends. The home screen displayed checks out with elements of HTC Sense 5.
The HTC One will be launched at a company event ahead of MWC 2013.
