NVIDIA today announced the updated Tegra Note 7, which adds support for cellular (LTE) connectivity, which has been made possible thanks to the company's own i500 LTE chipset. However, for the extra radio, you'll have to shell out an additional $100, bringing the total to $299. The updated slate won't be available until next quarter, which is fortunately just a little over a month away. NVIDIA promises that the 7-inch tablet will be compatible with LTE networks of most US carriers.
Additionally, the company has started rolling out the Android 4.4.2 KitKat update for the WiFi model, which also includes the Gamepad Mapper app from NVIDIA Shield.
