Gigabyte, Taiwan-based manufacturer of computer hardware products best known for its motherboards and graphics cards, has announced its latest gaming notebook. The P2742G is a 17-inch Full HD premium gaming notebook that gives user incredible gaming performance. It packs a 3rd generation Intel Core i7 quad-core processor, a powerful NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660M with 2GB GDDR5 memory and up to 24 GB of RAM.
Featuring 2 storage bays, the P2742G provides storage capacity up to 2TB with RAID 0 support for extremely fast storage performance. Gamers will for sure appreciate the THX TruStudio Pro audio technology which is coming with the notebook by default. In terms of connectivity, there are three USB 3.0 ports, USB 2.0 and an HDMI port, a 9-in-1 card reader along with 1Gbps Ethernet, WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0.
Measuring 413 x 277.5 x 17.5~48.8 mm, the P2742G weights 3.2 kg with 8 cell battery. It comes in two colors: orange and svelte black. The Gigabyte gaming notebook will be available on Amazon at any time for around $1400.
