LG Announces F70 And F90 At MWC 2014

LG has announced two new mid-range devices at MWC 2014, in Barcelona. Dubbed F70 and F90, the handsets are aimed to fill the space in the mid-range market. Although they aren't meant for to compete with high-end phones, they come with Android 4.4.2 out of the box.

LG F70 comes with a 4.5-inch WVGA IPS display, a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor along with 1 GB of RAM. There is 4 GB of storage with the ability to expand via microSD card slot. Two cameras are in charge for taking pictures and videos; a VGA front-facing and 5 MP auto-focus rear camera. It is powered by 2,440 mAh battery.

LG F90 has a slightly bigger screen, a 4.7-inch with a qHD resolution. Inside the phone is a quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor with only 512 MB of RAM. It has the same storage capacity and the only other different from the F70 are an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera and a 3,000 mAh battery.

Both of the handsets offer LTE connectivity, but unfortunately the company has not revealed any details of the availability or pricing of the new smartphones.
