ASUS is trying to expand its Zenbook Ultrabook lineup with two new devices. According to various reports, the company is working on a 15-inch and 13-inch Zenbook. The biggest advantage over previous models is that both models will come with 4K display.
ASUS Zenbook NX500 will probably replace UX51 lineup and will feature an Intel Haswell processor, a 15-inch 4K display Bang & Olufsen audio and its popular aluminum body. There is a possibility it comes with a discrete graphics card.
The 13.3-inch should be called Zenbook UX303 and will come with similar specs. Users will be able to choose which Haswell processor they want, Core i5 or Core i7, 4 GB or 8 GB of RAM. The 13.3-inch IPS display will also come with either WQHD (2,560 x 1,440 pixels) or full HD resolution (1,920 x 1,080 pixels). Unlike the 15-inch model, we know that this model will come with NVIDIA GeForce GT 840M graphics card.
It is unknown when the Ultrabooks will be announced and what the price will be, but, with Broadwell announcement coming in Q4 2014, we truly hope it will be soon.
