HTC's upcoming flagship handset has been largely a mystery. When first rumoured, the handset was named an M7. According to HTC, the M7 is actually HTC One. Except for the name, the design of HTC One was unknown until a week ago when we had a chance to see a clear press-shot of the upcoming smartphone.
Now we have a new picture, showing HTC One in a black/silver colour. The device is expected to have a 4.7-inch 1080p display, 2 GB of RAM, 32 GB of fixed storage (yet unknown if it is expandable) and a 13-megapixel camera. The phone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon Pro 1.7GHz quad-core processor and have Android 4.2 Jelly Bean on-board. It should also have a 4G LTE + HSDPA-compatible modem with 802.11 ac WiFi standard support.
HTC is planning to launch the HTC One at a company event on February 19, just ahead of Mobile World Congress.
