Israeli company Accel Telecom launched the Voyager car phone handset. Featuring a retro physical key candybar form-factor, it features large keys that are easy to locate and push while on the move, and features a software platform designed for car automation. The phone can tap into the car's OBD port both wirelessly over Bluetooth, and using a physical serial RS232 connection, letting you run fleet-management applications that require constant communication with the vehicle. The Voyager features two SIM card slots, features two independent 3G HSUPA connections, and an 802.11 b/g/n connection that can double up as a WiFi hotspot that tethers off the cellular 3G. The company did not give out pricing or availability information.
