Valve's bold attempt at recapturing the living room from traditional consoles and bringing it back to the desktop with its own hybrid hardware and software may be far from being ready for primetime, but Steam OS is gathering steam with each passing day. Only last month, Crytek announced that they will be adding Linux support to CryEngine. And now, Mike Fricker of Epic Games has revealed that Unreal Engine 4.1 is on its way, to be released in late April, with support for Steam OS and Linux.
Are we willing to bet that the next Crysis and Unreal powered games will be coming to Steam Box? Sure as hell!
