As Samsung is getting ready to launch the next generation smartphone, new information is leaking. Among all new rumours, the most notable is the release date. According to Eldar Murtazin tweet, a person known for getting it right, the Galaxy S IV will be announced at March 14. The location of the event should be New York.
We do know that Samsung Galaxy S IV will have a quad-core processor, and it was rumoured with Exynos 5 Octa. However, there are some indications that we could see Qualcomm's Snapdragon 600. The SCH-I545 appeared in NenaMark 2 benchmark revealing some information. If we remember Verizon's version of the Galaxy S3 had the model number SCH-I535, so this seems to be the Galaxy S IV.
In the leaked photo, the device shows an Adreno 320 GPU which is produced by Qualcomm. With that in mind, the processor could easily be a quad-core Snapdragon. This seems a little bit strange as Samsung recently introduce Exynos 5 Octa. Though, the company maybe struggles with the production of Exynos 5 Octa or did not get expected performance so decide to go with the competitors solution.
With a release date in March, Samsung plans to start selling the Galaxy S IV sometime in April throughout Europe.
