Nintendo's GameBoy Turns 25

Remember the Nintendo GameBoy? For those who know or were there, Nintendo's original handheld console (at least, the one that matters) is now 25 years old. It all started on April 21, 1989 when Japan was introduced to a tiny gaming device with a black-and-white display. Once people played Super Mario Land, they didn't care about any drawbacks or quirks in the device anymore. Since then, several upgrades to the GameBoy were released. I personally own a GameBoy Advance SP, on which I have spent countless hours playing Pokemon Ruby, Metal Slug, Digimon and other popular titles. The GameBoy brand was finally put to rest with the introduction of the Nintendo DS in 2004.
